My girlfriend mother just passed. I was planning to break-up with her, and I feel that it would be an awful timing now. How long should I wait ? (we have been together 8 months)
juan replied 1 years ago

If you don't want to be a douche then wait 2 months, right now your probably a person she really needs to help her through this. In 2 months her immediate grieving should be done and she will be able to t deal with a break up much better.

Yeah, now is not a good time to break up with her. I realize that you want to end things with her, but I hope that you still care about her in some way. If that is the case, be there as a supporting friend. As she begins to feel better, then consider breaking up.

two months is a bit much ...I think one month should be fine

For personal experience ... if you don't love her anymore leave her. Don't stay and don't wait her to be better!!!! My ex - bf did the same with me when I lost my father and I hate him for this thing.
